《即兴：其本质与音乐实践》是英国先锋吉他演奏者及自由即兴运动先驱人物德里克·贝利的唯一著作，是音乐领域第一本也是最重要的一本专注于讨论即兴音乐本质的著作。此中文版由韦玮、金运丰翻译，中国美术学院出版社出版，旧天堂书店策划。

"Improvisation: Its Nature and Practice" is the only book by British avant-garde guitarist and free improvisation pioneer Derek Bailey. It is the first and most important work focused on the essence of improvisational music. The Chinese edition, translated by Wei Wei and Jin Yunfeng, is published by China Academy of Art Press and planned by Old Heaven Books.
